In order to run the above business, we need to gather and use certain information about individuals and businesses. Below will show how we will collect, handle and store data to comply with new GDPR laws.
Why this policy exists
This policy will ensure that Trixie’s Pet Behaviour and Training will comply with current data protection law, follow good practice and protect the data of all individuals and protect itself from data breaches.

6. Be processed in accordance with the rights of data subjects
7. Be protected appropriately
8. Not be transferred out of the European Economic area
Policy scope
This applies to all areas of data obtained by Trixie’s Pet Behaviour and Training including names, address, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and any other information obtained by us.
Data Protection risks
This policy will prevent Trixie’s Pet Behaviour and Training from data security risks, to prevent information being passed on inappropriately, giving Clients choice of how their data is used or removed, and providing protection against damage of reputation.
Data storage
Trixiie’s Pet Behaviour and Training will ensure that all information regarding individuals and companies will be protected in line with this policy and Data protection guidelines and that any information held will never be passed on to third parties or used inappropriately.
All paper based information will be placed in locked storage and not seen by any non-authorised people, then shredded and disposed of when no longer required
All electronically stored data will be protected from unauthorised access, accidental deletion and malicious hacking attempts, and protected by approved security software and firewall.
All data will be destroyed appropriately when not needed any more
Access to data
All individuals are entitled to ask what information Trixie’s Pet Behaviour and Training hold on themselves as follows;-
Ask what information the company holds on them and why
Ask how to gain access to it
Be informed how the company is meeting its data protection requirements
